The first two weeks

Baby Brooklyn is almost two weeks old and that just blows my mind! To think that only two weeks ago she was inside me and half a pound smaller is just crazy! It has been a whirl wind of a first two weeks. Since the day we got home from the hospital we've been on the go. Yesterday (at 11 days old) was the first day we didn't have somewhere to be or someone to visit (until the night anyway) since she's been here. At one week old, Grandma Torre came and we went to the mall and got pictures taken which turned out so amazing and cute! She was a trooper. We took her all around the mall, shopping for a couple outfits to have her pictures taken in and she was just sleeping or looking around. When we finally got to the actual photo shoot she was hungry so that slowed things down a bit, but she gave us some really adorable photos! She's been to a swim party, a BBQ and been held and kissed by everyone! All without complaint! She even went to church for the first time... on Fathers Day actually. She is a very easy baby and so amazingly cute! I could just stare at her all day! Neither Bryan nor I can stop kissing her, and we kiss her pretty hard, but she doesn't seem to mind. She is quite strong for being so little. Its so surreal to have a little person with me all the time. I can definitely say that although the process of getting her here has serious drawbacks, I would and will do it again... a few times at least.

I am sad she is growing already, I feel like I can't quite capture enough moments with her even though I'm never away from her.
